Nottingham City Primary SCITT does not currently recruit through the GTTR (Graduate Teacher Training Registry) but asks candidates to make a separate application with supporting personal statement directly to the SCITT. It is absolutely vital that all candidates read our application information booklet which can be downloaded here. This website provides up to date information on the recruitment process for the next intake to our SCITT. In brief: basic entry requirements include GCSE grade C (or above) (or recognised equivalent) in English language, maths and science, a UK degree (or equivalent) and at least ten days experience in a state-maintained primary school. We will accept applications throughout the year although it is anticipated that there will be up to two rounds of interviewing, one in spring and one in summer depending on vacancies available. Subsequent applications may be held on file in the event of a vacancy arising outside of our normal recruitment process. Please contact us to find out if we have any vacancies if you are thinking of applying after the first shortlisting deadline given in the application information booklet. For information about international qualification equivalencies, please refer in the first instance to the National Academic Recognition Information Centre (NARIC) website: www.naric.org.uk. For up to date information about fees, please consult our application General financial information can be found on the DfES website www.dfes.co.uk/studentsupport or for EU students, on the government website www.direct.gov.uk. |
